Oliver, 9, is a young Mensan from New South Wales who has played Scrabble since he was 7 years old when he started playing with his grandmother on holidays in 2023. He became the U10 champion at the 2024 Australian Junior Scrabble Championship after playing competitively for only 8 months and was runner-up in 2025. He has recently represented Australia as part of the youth contingent for the 2025 World Youth Scrabble Championship in Malaysia. Oliver's other hobbies include playing soccer, chess, saxophone, athletics and swimming. His favourite Scrabble word is Quizotry and favourite subject at school is maths.
